Janani Ramachandran Wrong On Why Oakland Lost In Court To OBOT And Owes $700 Million, Here’s Facts.

Oakland District Four Councilmember Janani Ramachandran issued a video-blog that should be of concern to anyone who is hoping for signs that the City of Oakland has learned its lesson of the consequences of dishonest dealing. Councilmember Ramachandran bases

Janani must understand that Oakland:

1) Was a patner with OBOT in the development of the Oakland Bulk and Oversized Terminal to replace the closed Oakland Army Base by contract with the federal government.
2) Discovered that coal was the best market for OBOT
3) Signed a development agreement that mentioned coal as a commodity along with iron ore and other minerals.
4) Tried to breach the contract after Tom Steyer started to seed California politicians with money to go for clean energy legislation.
5) Lied about OBOT, which was not to be a coal terminal, but a pass-through development using covered rail cars.
6) Tried to stall development of OBOT and even renegged on a deal to have OBOT built without hauling coal. In other words, by that point, Oakland was just being mean to Phil Tagami / OBOT and doing all kinds of dirty tricks.
7) Also held up Insight Terminal Solutions access to the land and thus tortiously interefered with the OBOT / Insight Terminal Solutions contract.

All of this, and Janani doesn’t get it? Well, now, she should. The City of Oakland was an evil player here and some say some others involved with the City of Oakland should go to jail for their actions.

Janani wants an appeal? How about partnering with OBOT / Insight Terminal Solutions and doing economic development for a change?

Stay tuned.

Note from ZennieReport.com, Zennie62 YouTube, and ZennieReport.com: this ZennieReport video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. This is what we call “The Third Wave of Media”.

The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the ZennieReport.com Blog site and Zennie62Media -created and owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary, thus less chance for ZennieReport.com, Zennie62 YouTube vloggers to be robbed.

The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
