Star Trek SNW “Terrarium” The Best Episode Of Season 3 If Not The Entire Series And Star Trek Itself
If you’re a diehard Trekker like me and recall and have seen the Star Trek TOS Season 2 episode “Arena”, you will love Star Trek SNW Season 3 Episode “Terrarium”.
Without giving away details, it is basically the prequel to “Arena”. What I love is the intense character interplay between Lieutenant Ortegas (Melissa Navia) and the Gorn Female (Warren Scherer) featuring the relationship growth from unknown to known friend. The end is gut wrenching.
What comes after is where we encounter The Metrons, played by Darius Zadeh. It shows how much we have advanced in special effects technology as much as it presents the god-like Metron.
The episode also introduces a discussion on who we are we humans and the role of The Lord in the creation of the universe.
