The Young & The Restless Suggests A.I. Can Be Used To Hack Companies For Money But Fails To Say It’s Illegal
In a pivotal scene today, characters played by Eric Braiden and Billy Flynn discuss the existence and use of what they call an A.I. application that can be used to enter the financial accounts of companies to steal money. The pair discuss the program, but failed to say using it is illegal.
CBS , which produces The Young & The Restless, does not offer a disclaimer regarding the application. It should. Because Federal Law prohibits such activities.

With harsh penalty schemes and malleable provisions, it has become a tool ripe for abuse and use against nearly every aspect of computer activity.
CBS should take care to note that what they suggest is legal on television, is not.
