Shane Tamura NYC Shooting Suspect Missed NFL HQ But Attack Put Light On Need To Protect NFL Family
The story goes like this; Shane Tamura drove across the country with a semiautomatic rifle and then carried out a mass shooting on Monday in the building that’s home to the NFL’s offices, officials said. He died by suicide in the building. But along the way, he reportedly shot an NFL employee in the finance department, and as that person was on the phone telling others to take cover.
That paragraph may be just another story to you, but for those like myself, who have been to meetings and given presentations in NFL HQ, what happened takes on a different meaning.
You think about everyone you even half-way know who still works for the NFL in New York, and others who did, and you are quickly stunned by the size of the family that is people who make up the NFL.
And then you think “How can we better protect them”, and then you start to come to grips with the fact that we have to protect those security people by giving them enclosed areas that save them from harm by a gun-person.
I morn the loss of those who found themselves in the line of fire. I can’t help but ask how can we prevent this from happening again?

Note from ZennieReport.com, Zennie62 YouTube, and ZennieReport.com: this ZennieReport video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. This is what we call “The Third Wave of Media”.
The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the ZennieReport.com Blog site and Zennie62Media -created and owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary, thus less chance for ZennieReport.com, Zennie62 YouTube vloggers to be robbed.
The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
