Two people are dead after a shooting on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday night that appeared to stem from a conflict on social media, according to authorities.
Officers were patrolling Las Vegas Boulevard around 10:40 p.m. when they heard gunfire coming from the west side of the street, Undersheriff Andrew Walsh told reporters. They ran to the gunfire and found two people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medical personnel pronounced both people dead at the scene.
