Trump F-U To America: Giant Fundraiser Party As World Suffers Tariffs

Oakland (Special to ZennieReport.com donations welcome) – On the weekend of April 5th, 2025, President Donald J. Trump gave the single biggest “F-U” ever to the American Citizens he’s supposed to serve, and World allies he’s charged with helping. After a week that saw Trump Tariffs trigger a world-wide reaction that erased $5 trillion from the American Economy (an impact as large as that from the Pandemic), President Trump held a giant Saudi-Government-paid-for LIV Golf tournament at his Doral resort in Florida and then drawing his super-rich friends and fans to a Mar-A-Lago fundraiser.

The event was covered in an article called “Trump Family’s Cash Registers Ring as Financial Meltdown Plays Out” by the New York Times, who’s writers (Eric Lipton, Theodore Schleifer, Zolan Kanno-Youngs, and Maggie Haberman) did a great job of presenting the coldness of Trump for the world to see. Take this entry by Eric Lipton:

I spent 12 hours at Doral this weekend, watching the festivities unfold. It was Friday, from morning until night. The NYT bought a LIV Golf “grounds pass” and then I was just strolling around observing, watching the Saudi-funded party at the Trump Doral resort playout–as the stock market was in a free fall, one of the worst market crashes in history. The disconnect between the Saudi-fueled party at Trump’s resort and the desperation re global financial markets (caused by Trump) was startling While I was at Doral, I ran into Yasir Al-Rumayyan, governor of Saudi Arabia’s $925 billion sovereign wealth fund and chairman of LIV Golf. He’s brought the tournament to Trump Doral four times now–a way to cement his ties with Trump, and the benefits that brings to Saudi Arabia. I walked up to Al-Rumayyan and asked him why he had picked Trump Doral. He was gracious and respectful to me and polite. But declined to speak and then told the driver of his golf cart to pull away, after a very short remark. A bit later, I ran into Eric Trump, the lead family member running the business. He had a big smile on his face as we chatted. Every room at the 643-room Trump Doral including the $13,000-a-night presidential suite was sold out. Not a seat could be found at hotel bar, where a porterhouse steak cost $130 In short, a day to celebrate for the Trumps, as the financial world melted down. Thanks to readers for supporting this work. Important to document this reality. History happening

Eric Lipton’s Right: History Is Happening And It’s Focused On Violating The Poor, Powerless, And Nice

Historically, America’s not a place that lacks for emphathy: we’re known for saving Europe during World War II, advancing civil rights for African Americans, women, and minorities, making buildings accessible to the poor, advancing the objective of healthcare for all, working to get housing for everyone, protecting kids with child labor laws, making our water drinkable and clean, cleaning the air so its breathable, giving equal rights for women, putting seat-belts in cars, making autos crash-resistant, making sure technology is used to make our lives easier to live, and many more actions that, together, make America the place everyone wants to be. But all of that history is being eroded by the actions of Donald Trump. And we’re letting him do it.

What we’re currently letting Trump do is violate the very covenants that created America. Last weekend, Trump acted like it was time to party, golf, and celebrate. He’s got the World where he wants it: 50 nations want to negotiate to have tariffs dropped. Trump says countries will have to ‘pay a lot of money’. But to whom? Him or America? A skeptical observer would be right to ask the question.

No Longer One Nation Under God But One Nation Directed By The Devil

What’s being played out should give every American pause, and then riot in the streets as millions did last weekend. Have you ever considered that America would have a President without a degree of care for those who are less fortunate? Did you ever think you would see our country be so shocked over the behavior of its own leader that it would be paralyzed?

Donald Trump and his Russian friends (let’s call it for what it is: he’s a Russian Asset) have figured out that for all of America’s power, its government was formed in the polite society of ladies and gentlemen. Trump, over his time, has never been consider a member of polite society, but someone turned away from it. And now, we come to a point where Trump is trying to wreck America and has no design on really improving it, except for himself. He’s counting on you to believe he will stop and get religion, but the truth is, the only religion Donald Trump follows is his own.

Trump is not a Republican, but in truth, a Conservative Democrat (and one who party affiliation changed five times) who switched parties because he believed he could fool Southern conservatives and gain an electoral foothold in the South. One that would propel him to the Office of The President, with a little help from Russian social media message manipulation specialists in 2016 Now Trump is back after pulling legal fast ones to stay out of jail and justify the billions Russian investors have spent to make him a real live Manchurian candidate. Trump’s remaking the GOP into something it can’t want to be: cruel, selfish, greedy, and most of all, evil. Americans can’t wait for the GOP to snap out of it; America’s going to have to splash a giant bucket of cold water on it for the good of the nation.

As These NY Times Commenters Put It, Time For America To Wake The Hell Up

Self-dealing and self-enrichment on an UnConstitutional scale of epic czar like proportions.

The Foreign Emoluments Clause of the Constitution has been buried 50 feet underground.

And lawless Republican Party claps.

Trump has complete contempt for 340 million Americans.

Wake up, MAGA.

That comment in the NY Times Eric Lipton article came from someone who calls themselves “Socrates”

and lives in Downtown Verona, NJ. And next, here’s an Oakland, Ca resident…

Imagine how much transporting the king’s large entourage from Washington to Florida and back costs the taxpayers. Is this really what we want our taxes to pay for?

@a smidge of salt It was actually surprising to see. Air Force One landed at Miami International Airport Thursday evening, which is about seven miles from Trump Doral. But Trump took a military helicopter from MIA airport to his golf resort, landing right there next to the golf course. Tax dollars at work, in the DOGE era. A six-mile helicopter ride.

@Bmkt But the “cost” in human terms of his first term was far greater. Obviously, he will demolish his first term record this time around. Should we be anticipating the cost of invading Greenland-Panama-Canada? We may yet hear him boast about how much money he’s saving the U.S. by abandoning Ukraine. Trump’s failure to do anything to address climate change — in fact, he’s doing plenty to make it much worse — will be incalculable. But why should Trump care? He’ll be dead long before the worst effects are felt, unless, of course, he orders RFK Jr. to begin massive funding for reanimating his dead body when he dies. The death toll has already begun to rise. Perhaps, he hopes to top his COVID-19 death toll. However, I doubt he’s giving any thought to that, since he cares nothing about the death of others. Not long ago, Trump paid a visit to Fort Knox to check on his gold. I suppose that was necessary so he can begin planning how to move the gold from Kentucky to Mar-a-Lago. Will he try to store all that gold in his bathrooms the way he did the government documents he stole? Once Trump has made the U.S. a third world dictatorship, and he’s managed to increase his own personal wealth at the expense of this country, will he give up the idea of a third term as president? My comment depends only very slightly on sarcasm and fantasy. No matter how foolish or far-fetched something sounds, it can’t be totally dismissed when dealing with the world’s most toxic clown.

We Have To Take Legal, Effective, Swift Action To Save America

The question is will we? Will we rise up and help make Senator Cory Booker’s words mean something? We can if we do the small actions; write, talk, and empathize with each other. And then fashion a big legal stick and use it.
