ZennieReport.com – Fmr Alameda Co DA Pamela Price Claims Oakland CM Ken Houston Was Boyfriend Of Celeste Guap In 2016
A day ago, Former Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price got on her new video-blog program and claimed that current Oakland District Seven Councilmember Ken Houston was once the boyfriend and “agent” of then-19-year-old Celeste Guap, the focus of the Oakland Police Sex Scandal in 2016. That on its face explosive claim leaves a lot of questions that challenge the credibility of the comment.
The first question is why would Former Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price wait until now, after Ken ran and won the Oakland City Council District 7 Race in the 2024 Election? She could have said something during the 2024 Election Season, where it would have had a greater impact?
The second question is why didn’t Former Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price mention that claim during the 2018 Oakland Mayoral Election, when both she and Councilmember Houston were candidates in the race eventually won by Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, who was seeking her second term? That was just two years off of the Celeste Guap sex scandal. Why not say something then?
Is that because in 2018 Celete Guap was also claiming that Price, her lawyer, was “exploiting her and acting out of greed. Abuslin (Celete Guap) said Price and Bonner even got her family to sign over intellectual property rights to her story.” That’s called stealing your client’s story, and then some, folks.
Also, why is there no document mentioning Guap or Jasmine having an “agent”? And what about the East Bay Express’ Darwin Bond Graham’s Feb 18th, 2018 claim that in 2016, the same year Price claims that Houston was Guap’s “agent”, there was another story not involving Ken, but focused on Pam:
“(Celete Guap) also alleges that Price held her incommunicado for several weeks in 2016 at a remote Lake County home owned by Bonner that was guarded by armed private security officers. Abuslin’s parents say they were told by Price and the security guards to stay away. Abuslin’s cellphone also went missing while in Price’s possession, so she couldn’t contact her family.”
It continues: ” “I remember asking for my stuff, but they kept making excuses that the phone was in other luggage, or they didn’t have it with them at the moment,” said Abuslin. Weeks later, back in California, Abuslin said she confronted Price about the cellphone: “She was like, ‘I don’t have it, sweetie. I lost it after the airport.’”
It continues: “The missing cellphone meant that Abuslin couldn’t communicate with her family and friends, but Price and Bonner told media at the time that Abuslin wanted her privacy.”
It continues: “There was, in fact, a media frenzy around the teenager’s story. Price initially got involved in the case, she said, because much of the media coverage fixated on Abuslin and identified her as a “prostitute,” when, in fact, she was a victim. Price said she wanted to intervene and cut off this narrative because she felt it was harmful to the teenager and distracting from the police corruption that should have been front and center.”
It continues: “But Abuslin has said in multiple interviews going back to late 2016 that she wanted her cellphone so she could get in contact with her family and friends, and she never authorized anyone to take this ability away from her.”
Abuslin Never Mentioned A Boyfriend Or “Agent” During Our Interview Of Eight Years Ago
Jasmine Abuslin never once mentioned a boyfriend of “agent” during our interview of eight years ago.
In all, Pamela Price was in such control of where Guap went in 2016, that her claims today look baseless. And why would Price violate attorney-client priveldge and blurt out an ugly rumor about her client? Price could lose her law license over this.
Stay tuned.

Note from ZennieReport.com, Zennie62 YouTube, and ZennieReport.com: this ZennieReport video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. This is what we call “The Third Wave of Media”.
The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the ZennieReport.com Blog site and Zennie62Media -created and owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary, thus less chance for ZennieReport.com, Zennie62 YouTube vloggers to be robbed.
The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
