He also discussed with Prime Minister Netanyahu the opportunity presented by Sinwar’s death to halt the fighting and get the hostages out. The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of getting much more aid into Gaza.

Finally, the leaders also discussed Lebanon and the importance of making progress on a political solution.

The Real News Behind The UK PM Call To Prime Minister Netanyahu Of Israel

The facts on the ground are that the two prime ministers don’t see eye-to-eye on the matter of Israel’s actions. Yet Starmer is trying to play both sides of the fence.

Last September 25th, according to Politico:

U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer rejected a claim by his Israeli counterpart that the U.K. undermined Israel’s security when it blocked some arms exports to Tel Aviv.

Starmer pushed back at Benjamin Netanyahu after the Israeli PM accused the U.K. of “sending a horrible message” to Hamas by suspending some arms export licenses to Israel.

Britain’s move came amid concern in Whitehall that exports could be used in violation of international law as Israel conducts its campaign against Hamas in Gaza.

Now, here’s the other side of the fence that PM Starmer is playing with.

Sir Keir Starmer claims Sinwar was responsible for the atrocities, clearing Netanyahu of blame for the deaths of thousands caused by his bombings.

And yet the mixed signals continue: UK prime minister kier Starmer was in favour of Israel when he became PM , but now he has changed stance , he supports arrest warrant of ICC for Netanyahu.
