Andre Jones Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao Boyfriend At City Hall Morning Of FBI Raid Brings Dog With Him

Oakland (Special to ZennieReport.com) – On the 6 AM PST Thursday June 21st morning of the FBI Raid of Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao’s home, and as part of a multi-address sting that included the Mayor’s Maiden Lane property, the home of California Waste Solutions (CWS) Andy Duong, David Duong’s home on Skyline Blvd, and Vietnam American Business Association on Embarcadero, the Mayor herself was, as several media outlets put it, “nowhere to be seen”.   But her boyfriend Andre Jones was at home, then left without talking to the media just around 10 AM.  But where did he go?  Oakland City Hall.  (Your fan dollars help Zennie62Media, Inc. grow! Chip in here!)

Andre Jones Arrived At Oakland City Hall at 11 AM PST Thursday Morning Of The FBI Raid, Walking A Dog

According to a Zennie62Media photographer who was at City Hall that morning, Mr. Jones arrived at just after 11 am.  The Zennie62Media photographer was originally at Oakland City Hall for Rules Committee (an Oakland City Council hearing where legislation is scheduled for future Oakland City Council meetings) only to discover that it was canceled.

Then, learning that the FBI Raid of Mayor Thao’s Home was going on, the Zennie62Media photographer decided to stick around City Hall and observe if the Mayor or anyone else appeared.  To that end, our man at City Hall took a seated position at a table in front of the City Council Chambers that is normally used to hand out the meeting agenda and for speakers to sign up, pulled out his smartphone to take pictures, and waited.

As the Zennie62Media photos show, our Man at City Hall was able to see across the atrium and directly at the Mayor’s Office Entrance, which includes a view of the side doors and the elevator, as well as the main entry gate.

Then, as the first photo shows, Andre Jones showed up wearing a white hoodie with the hood down, black gym pants, and walking a dog.  Jones emerged from the elevator, turned, and walked toward the side entrance, used a card-key causing the double-doors to open, and then walked in.

Our Zennie62Media photographer took care not to draw attention to himself other than his presence at the table nearby, so he took five photos the entire time from 11 AM to 1:30 PM.  On the other hand there wasn’t much action going on to warrant taking a lot of pictures.

Oakland City Administrator Jestin D. Johnson Walked Over To Mayor’s Office That Morning, Andre Jones Walked Back

The Zennie62Media photographer told this author that he saw Oakland City Administrator Jestin D. Johnson walk from his office at the opposite side of the City Hall atrium, and enter the Mayor’s Office.  The Zennie62Media photographer  did not see Johnson walk back his office the same way.

Later, our  Zennie62Media photographer said Jones happened to walk toward him and from the Oakland City Administrator Office, and back to the Mayor’s Office, but said nothing to him.  But he took a photo because he noticed that Jones had changed clothes while in the Mayor’s Office, and left the dog in the office.

The Zennie62Media photographer said that was a sure sign the Mayor of Oakland was in her office at the time.  (Keep in mind that Andre Jones is not an employee of the Oakland Mayor’s Office, or the City of Oakland, at this time. He did work for Oakland At-Large Councilmember Rebecca Kaplan as her Chief of Staff as far back as 2014.)

Then, later, our Man saw Jones emerge from the office yet again, only this time he went downstairs and did not return, that was just after 1:30 PM.   Our Zennie62Media photographer also said that he learned the City of Oakland had conducted an emergency closed session meeting, and that it has a “full quorum” of attendees, another sure sign the Mayor of Oakland was in City Hall and in attendance.

Media Rep Sees, Says Nothing To Zennie62Media Photographer

While our Man was sitting at his table perch, an unidentified  media personality walked up the stairs to the doors of the Oakland City Council Chamber, and looked at him, but didn’t say anything.  That’s an odd development considering the media was supposed to be there at City Hall looking for Mayor Thao and Andre Jones.

One would think a truly curious media worker would ask questions of a Black man sitting right in the middle of the atrium of the Oakland City Council and between the Mayor’s Office and the Oakland City Administrator’s Office.

But that’s OK, that just means Zennie62Media has the exclusive.

Additional Considerations

In closing a giant thanks to our man at Oakland City Hall for his effort in making the photos and gathering the information you saw. It’s clear that Mayor Thao was, indeed, in her office during the time of the FBI Raid. Sheng did not skip town, as some have speculated.

Moreover, Andre Jones obviously changed clothes in the Mayor’s Office, which means that he has some kind of place in there where he has extra clothes stored. And it’s also clear that the family dog was there, too – otherwise, why take him for a walk? It’s also apparent that the City Administrator was working to keep eyes off the Mayor, and only so the normal course of business could continue.

Andre Jones Mom At Door During FBI Raid Of Mayor Sheng Thao’s Home June 21st.

Thanks to the Zennie62Media Photographer on the scene, we have this exclusive photo showing a woman a source claims is the mother of Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao’s Boyfriend Andre Jones. Regardless of how one may feel about the Oakland Mayor, this underscores why she was so upset in her no-holds-barred speech of yesterday, Monday, June 24th, 2024.

Imagine if your Mom opened her door and discovered an army of FBI Agents, waiting to come in?
