Oakland (Special to ZennieReport.com) – The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) is proud to announce the endorsement of Adam Schiff for U.S. Senate in California.

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) and the Southwest Mountain States Regional Council (SWMSRCC), which is the affiliate that represents members in Southern California, have a very long relationship with Congressman Adam Schiff. It is a partnership that goes back to his very first race for the House of Representatives.

The Northern California Carpenters Regional Council (NCCRC) has also endorsed Adam Schiff in his race for the United States Senate. Combined, the SWMSRC and the NCCRC represent more than 75,000 carpenters in California.

“Congressman Schiff understand the needs of working people and has stood strong with labor time and time again,” said UBC General President Douglas J. McCarron. “In his election for Senate we’re proud to stand with him.”

“We’re ready to work hand-in-hand with our brothers and sisters in Southern California in order to get Adam Schiff elected to the U.S. Senate,” added Jay Bradshaw, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the NCCRC.

“Adam Schiff will be a strong ally for California’s working families,” said Frank Hawk, Executive Secretary-Treasurer for the SWMSRC. “We know he’ll stand with us in the U.S. Senate just as proudly as he has in the House of Representatives.”
